Powerful words have the power to change.  As an intern with the Isla Vista Food Co-op, you’ll have the chance to participate in a project that grows and changes with each passing day, with each person who decides to share their passion about the evolving face of the global and local food movement and all the power it beholds to the people around them.  With close mentoring by a UCSB alum highly regarded in the local food and activist community and national food co-op movement, you’ll be receiving the chance to be the change that you wish to see in the world while developing skills in participatory education and outreach that can be utilized for the rest of your life.
